In 1999 Luca Trivisonno and Pierpaolo Chiaramonte, two young Italian entrepreneurs who worked as Export Managers for high-end furniture suppliers, opened Esperia Inc. in Miami Florida.
Esperia’s philosophy was to work with the best developers and architects and deliver new quality suppliers to the North and Latin American markets. The challenge was huge.
Like many new start-ups the company suffered several difficulties early on including the premature death of Pierpaolo in 2000. This left business partner Luca to pursue their vision alone.
With an eye for meticulous attention to detail, Luca has always pursued “beauty” in each and every project. This combined with his outgoing personality and international professional experience has enabled Luca to build strong relationships with innovative architects and developers all over the
US and Europe.
In 2002 Luca supplied a number of Italian made kitchens for the Tribecacondo project in SouthBeach which for many years represented the bench mark for quality and beauty in the Miami hot condo market at the time.
One year later Luca’s innovative kitchens and furniture were spotted at a design show in Orlando by Keith Poimboeuf, a leading Atlanta developer.
Keith and his partners were so impressed with Luca’s own kitchen designs that he invited him to supply all the kitchens and furniture for theFactory Lofts, a project made up of 27 units inVirginiaHighland, the trendiest area in Atlanta.
The word soon began to spread and Luca with Esperia began working with both high end residential and wholesale projects across the entire South East of the
US.
Some of the wholesale projects where Luca was responsible for the design, supply and installation of all kitchens and bathrooms include the Tribute Lofts, winner of the 2008 AtlantaDesign Excellence Award andTerrazzoa 117 condominium project andthe first Green Building at the Gulch in Nashville which was completed last year.
Some of the residential projects Luca has worked on include theAmos Residence with architect Cb Miles and theDainelliResidence both in
Atlanta.
In 2008 Luca’s life took an unexpected turn. Whilst on holiday in Australia Luca met his soul mate Angie. Luca and Angie married last year and he has now permanently moved to
Sydney, leaving his American company to be run by managers.
However, someone like Luca could not just stop there. So, under his own nameTrivisonno,Luca has started bringing into Australia a new portfolio of quality high end suppliers that include:Il Loftby world renowned designerGiorgio Saporiti (Furniture Store of the Year in Tokyo 2008), Vittorio Pezzotta’s ArgentoVivokitchen, MyPodoffice solutions (both 2009 Chicago Good Design Award winners), andGarofoliInterior doors.
